Mom

Can I start by saying that this year is simply flying by...it's mother's day this upcoming Sunday already! I love this day because we get to celebrate the most important women in our lives. My mother is such a big part of my life that I don't know what I would do without her. Soooo....I was really happy to find out that Regina had us use the 'mom' word from Beyond Birthdays along with the vase cut. I decided to make a little bag for my mom to fill up with some goodies for a trip that she is planning to Spain. I used the nut cup from TBBM and some yummy paper from a K & Company stack that I have. I used the StoryBook cart to make the scalloped circle and accent to put the word 'mom' on. I hope everyone has a beautiful Mother's Day!

Junk For Your Trunk

Happy Tuesday to all! This week over at the BBTB, we were asked to use the Inch bag from TBBM with an image from PeggyLovesVintage. Make sure to go visit her site because she has some of the most amazing vintage images that you will ever see! I cut some circles out of red felt, stitched, around the window, embossed the saying onto the image, attached an eyelet and used a safety pin to attach it to the ribbon. Then I put some candy in a cellophane bag and voila! Please enjoy:

Sisters 24/7

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I am so happy to say that I spent a lot of time thinking, scrapping and creating!!! This week for Regina's BBTB challenge, she had us use the 24/7 cut from Graphically Speaking. I decided to scrap pictures of my sister and I using a scrapbooking kit that I purchased from SweetArts Paperie. This kit is AMAZING; it has great papers from Cosmo Cricket, ribbons, chipboard, rub-ons, buttons, and a cute scalloped square chipboard album.

I also went over to 2 Sketches 4 You to see what wonderful sketch they had for this week since I wanted to make a double page LO. I used Laura's sketch to create it with the same yummy papers from the kit. Enjoy!!

In the kit, Krista sends some printable stamps that Regina creates and sells at The Cuttin' Cafe. They are adorable and can be used in anything!!

Happy Birthday

Hello everyone!! Been busy busy with wedding and baby showers but now that they are over I got some time in to do some scrapping! For Regina's challenge over at the BBTB we were to use the Happy Birthday sign from the Hello Kitty cartridge. I was rummaging through my pictures to try to find some that I could scrap and came across these that we took on my husband's birthday. The PP is from Making Memories, ribbon from CTMH. Please enjoy and I will be back soon!

Blog candy..

Sharon, a very talented and wonderful person, is giving away some blog candy. Be sure to stop by her blog and see her amazing work! And play along while you are there!

New addition to the familiy...

While I was MIA for a while we acquired a new addition to the family...a Weimaraner puppy. My DH has been wanting this dog for years and we finally decided to get one. His name is DASH and boy is he a handful!! All you hear us say is "Drop it, leave it, NO!, and come here". We are taking him to puppy training classes and he already knows how to sit, go down, rollover, and crawl. All I can say is that for not being a dog lover, I think I have fallen in love!!

LOVE

Hello everybody!!! I am finally back...had to take some time off for work but I sure am happy to have time to scrap again! Regina's challenge over at the BBTB was to use the word LOVE cut from Home Accents in brown. The papers used were all from CTMH. I cut three strips and layered them at the top of the page. The word LOVE was cut at 61/2 and the heart to the left was cut at 6". The clear buttons are from Stampin' Up and all I did was cover them with the scraps I had from the strips. the ribbon was courtesy of TeriBeri (my darling sister-in-law...thank you!) and the pin and accent were from my stash. I hope you enjoy... :o)

Warm Winter Wishes

Wow, I am so excited because it is actually CHILLY here in Miami, WOOHOO!!!! This weather is hard to come by in these parts of the woods so I am enjoying it to the fullest....bringing out my sweaters, driving with my car windows down, and digging for my Christmas decorations! Anyhoo, this week's challenge over at the BBTB was to use the tree from Stretch Your Imagination in a Christmas themed project. I used a different color scheme than the usual red and green...the base of the card is a shimmery Bazzill paper and I got the PP from my LSS (I forgot the line who carries it!) The font is Classy Charm from Scrapnfonts (I am in love with this font!). The snowflakes are cut from a Sizzix die and the ribbon is from American Crafts that my sister got me for my birthday (thanks sis!).
